Typical heartburn is a burning or stinging sensation that starts somewhere in the top of your stomach or lower chest. It may just remain in the chest area or could rise up into the bottom of your throat. You may get a strong acid taste in your mouth as well. This burning sensation is a result of stomach acids or food and drink escaping your stomach and going up through the digestive tract.
Now that being said my friend, I would really like to see you learn how to stop the worrying about every twinge you have as you are causing yourself to be on this constant merry-go-round of worry. You are OK and you will be OK.
Just about everyone here has GERD and each of us will experience different symptoms. Knowing everyone else's symptoms is not going to help your anxiety but working on ways to control the anxiety is the best road for you to choose.
I wish you peace and from now on I would like to see you address your anxiety issues when your posting so we may help you learn how to conquer your fears.
