Please see a doctor for guidance if you have GERD that is ruining your life. There may be lifestyle and food changes in addition to medication that can help you avoid GERD but pairing up food or not from that list is not one of them.
It it true, however, that certain food and drink will make GERD worse so you should keep a food diary and what effects you have afterwards if any. The most usual lifestyle changes besides avoiding certain food and drink include not eating very large meals and not eating too late in the evening before lying down in bed. Your doctor can instruct you further.
