hi there I'm almost 40 mother of toddler. I was so pleased to see a post from people who had some discomfort in their throat & upper chest. about 3 months ago we were moving & I kept rubbing the side of my neck, I thought maybe the right gland was inflamed. Next my eyes got stuffy & there was intermittent discomfort in right side of my neck.
then I watched a CDC video on throat cancer and instantly around the base of my throat/ upper chest got tight.

Everything ebbs & flows. Nothing is really painful. I think really both sides of my neck are even, it is soft not hard. I know when the chiropractor did x-rays to investigate chronic (10-years) hip pain he said the worst of me is my neck.
Years ago in Japan I had laryngitis yearly & the ENT did a thorough exam including little scopes with a camera & determined my spongy tissue of my sinus is obese - over-grown due to too much bronchitis as a youth.

Now I neti pot & nasya oil almost daily trying to get rid of this discomfort in my neck. But the discomfort is also in the most upper chest. There is no pain, nothing seems related to diet - we are gluten free, non-smokers.

I found great comfort just reading others having the same symptoms with nothing seriously wrong. Since the birth of my child I have anxiety that my husband or I will become sick & die. This anxiety is not fun.

My hip pain is from a car accident at age 5 by the way. I studied postural therapy & Ayurveda to try to create the best me possible. The pain has returned under stressful/ over burdened times but is generally under control.
