Dear all, probiotics have done wonders for my Ibs C and actually had enabled me to take some ppis but for sure they increased my gerd. I have read other people saying the same.
My explanation is that they created kind of SIBO, up intestinal gases or simply part of them stay in the stomach as HP could do.
Had it happened to some of you as well, would it pass?

Tx for sharing
Henri

My GI told me that initially when you take probiotics it helps you repopulate good bacteria. But after a month of probiotics, it is a placebo. There is no use of continuing it.

My GI was a representative for Align. So actually the info he gave me would hurt their business. But he told me that was a fact and as a specialist his duty was to convey the scientific research already done. He suggested that I try yogurt with live bacteria.
