Just had my postop appointment on Friday, 3 weeks postop today. Things seem to be going good. Got the go ahead to start eating, soft diet first then start introducing different foods over the next week. I am really nervous beginning even the soft diet because I have been feeling so good recently, but I am getting sick of mashed potatoes and gravy and mac and cheese. Any suggestions for starting the food process. It will be nice to have some decent food for a change, maybe my energy level will come back!

Thanks!!

You could check them out.  I'm sure some of them aren't appropriate, but if there are some that have ingredients on your soft diet list, give them a try!

Have you seen these eating resources:

Good luck, and happy eating!

Mashed potatoes and mac and cheese are soft foods. Congratulations, you are on your way to normal eating. Take it slow and easy and you'll be fine.
