I'm 23 and suffered/ing from reflux with no relief from medicine.  I went for LINX by Dr. Smith at Mayo on May 29.  A little over  a week post op thus far.  The first three days after surgery were ironically my best. my food started getting stuck last saturday and i would try to swallow it down but id get so nauseated my body would force it back up tons of saliva and sticky clear stuff.  since then, this has happened A LOT and i'm scared that i am the odd one who won't benefit from this surgery.  i emailed him and he thinks i should ride it out for a month but if im that worried to go for another barium swallow.  i don't want the radiation. i feel like i can barely eat.  has this happened to anyone else?? is it normal?? thanks!
