I thought i was feeling better for a month or so and then during weekend I had Macdonald's and all hell broke loose again.. My globus was so much I feel like throwing up.. I did throw up but nothing comes out.. I have zero appetite. Feel like food coming up even thou I didnt eat much. I just feel like crying.. nobody just understand how I feel...

I should be going for the very-very-scary endoscopy this week.. I really wonder if one can ever get cured from it? Looking at how I am now, I just wanna cry and not looking forward to anything.

I feel so scared. :(

What I think, the globus is definitely acid reflux mucus... cos after my meals, i would get alot of mucus in my throat.. to the point i would cough and throw up.

I feel for you. I have been on a rabbit food diet for 3 months since this flare up started. I lost 2 dress sizes and everyone does not understand. I have not felt well in a while. Just get the tests done. I'm in the process of doing it now, I should have done it years ago. The endoscopy is easy. Let us know how it goes.

fireworks,

Ever consider the Nissen surgery or some form of it?

I've thought about it but I'm not sure I'm a candidate. My endoscopy only shows mild damage. I'm in the process of further testing so maybe that will be in my favor. I fear surgery but the thought of living like this long term is nauseating.

I'm right there with you all! I just can't get the tight throat and lump to go away. I do wonder if I'll ever beat this, I fear the answer is no.....and the daily battle is so overwhelming and so the depression sets in. No worries about the endo, I've have about 6 or so over the years and you won't feel or remember anything (including the talk with the doc after).
