I have a gaping les and gerd. Dexilant 60 mg offers 90% relief. I also have high blood pressure, even though I exercise and only weigh 140 pounds @ 5'6". I know many medications irritate the stomach and relax the les. What's the beat medication for high blood pressure in my case. My gastro suggested beta blockers but i really want to avoid them.

What are your thoughts?

I am sorry that you are having issues with your BP, however, we are really not qualified to suggest what medication would be best for your BP problem. I suspect you are leary of the beta blocker as you prefer not to take any medication that would block your heart rate as you mentioned you have an exercise program.

I hope you find the right BP medication for you.

Kindly,
Kitt
