Hi all, really enjoy reviewing the posts. I had my surgery on June 13. was sent home on liquids for 2 weeks. Then told to move onto soft foods. Have been doing mashed potatoes and gravy-seems to be OK. How can you tell if you are eating too much? I have noticed in posts that you have to be careful-what happens? I have been limiting myself to 1/4 to 1/2 cup of broths and a spoonful of potatoes.I was swallowing my meds OK, now pills seem to be "sticking".Had a hitial  hernia repair, nissen and a another hernia repair in my belly button.Had soft ice cream tonight -tasted so good! Only ate part of it, worried about too much, too fast. surgery seems to have healed well, some discomfort when I lie on my left side. Still get random pain/tightness across lower chest/rib cage area. any ideas?
thanks for your help !
