I'm wondering whether anyone would be able to give some insight into what this feeling exactly is and what to know before I see my doctor. My doctor has done a CT scan of chest, and blood test for thyroid ect. to which was tested when I had usually heart palpitations, but I haven't seen him about this problem which begun not long after.

It's difficult to explain, but pretty much I began to get heart palpitations frequently (several times a day) 2 months ago. They began in my throat, then started to occur in my chest, then I started to get a constant feeling in my throat, to which is now a faint feeling in my chest.

Attempt at explaining the feeling: It's as if there is a residual push felt in chest to which was originally a cyclic push from the palpitations. In a small way it feels as if something's caught in the throat (except its more in the chest region, very difficult to pinpoint a definite location).

I've searched for similar circumstances, and have never been able to find a constant feeling, that's lasted as long as so. I personally don't think it'd have anything to do with stress, I'm not the type to stress often.

I am having similiar symptoms to you! You can look back through my postings. I'm still trying to find out what is going on with me. I haven't posted about the heart palpitations because I thought that they were anxiety related (which I have because of all this stuff that is going on in my body) but I am getting somewhat concerned about them because they seem to be getting worse.

However, I have the same sensations in my chest...Ive been describing it as a "discomfort" in my chest. I'm not sure if it's heartburn or what... However, I'm also having problems with bloating right now too. I just started some heavy duty probiotics the other night. I'm going to stay on those for at least two weeks and see if it makes any difference.

Have you tried taking a PPI to see if that helps?

You guys could be having esophageal spasms or chest pains from the reflux. The spasms feel like pressure. The pains can be floating or constant. Continue to see your doctors.
