Yay! You're on the other side and ready to start healing. I guess I should figure out a way to welcome you into your new and improved state...I guess it's, Welcome to the Three Redo Wrap Club!
Bill ("The Moderator") is a founding member of your very elite club (You probably read his story on the Resources section). He has been offline a lot, but he posts his email address on his profile, and I'm sure he'd like to hear from you. If he learns about your surgery, he will definitely want to provide support and information.
You'll just have to hire someone to sit by your bed when you're sleeping and watch the clock! Can you ask the nurses to take care of that? At least try. They should check in on you and push your button if you sleep a long time. See if they'll do that for you...they should! Either that, or maybe they can switch you to another method. Just tell them about your pain.
Here's hoping the pain subsides soon. It's always worst the first few days, as you well know.
Keep us posted!
Very best wishes,
Words of wisdom by Eckhart Tolle:
"Whatever you fight, you strengthen, and what you resist, persists.”
“Worry pretends to be necessary but serves no useful purpose”
“Accept - then act. Whatever the present moment contains, accept it as if you had chosen it. Always work with it, not against it.”
