Hi All,
Wanted to update you.  I've been having random issues since February with acid reflux or LPR...not sure what is going on.  I think it is somehow LPR related, because when I start having issues with my tummy, I get this funny feeling in my chest which to me feels like reflux and then I start having chest pain, etc.  Was DX with early asthma, but I do believe it is being caused by acid.
Anyhow, I've had the luxury of taking two week long vacations in the last several months.  The thing that I have realized, is that while gone, I have had little to NO symptoms!  When I come back home, my tummy troubles begin (gas and bloating) and then come along the other issues with it.  I totally am realizing that my problems are being brought on my stress and anxiety.  This has to be it.
I restarted my Cymbalta after an almost three month break.  I am having less anxiety, but for my Type-A personality and for a person who has her own business with 60+ employees, it's a hard thing to control all the time.
I have noticed that when I start feeling bloated and gassy, is when all the other issues started, so I think that I'm dealing with some kind of IBS that is triggered by stress.  If I can find a way to get this under control, I think I will be fine.  I just started taking Psyllium Fiber Power last night (ugh!!!!) per the suggestion of my GI doc to get my GI tract "moving" a little better.  I hope it starts working!
Anyhow, just thought I would put out an update!

Hi Carrie,
It sounds as if you've done a bang-up job of figuring yourself out!  Your insights will be extremely helpful in getting your symptoms under control.  I understand how challenging it is to reduce stress, but it sounds as if you're on the right track.
Thanks for the update!
