I had endoscopy in june and it showed inflammation of the gastric due to reflux.. And ok just as i thought i was healing (on pariet and enzymes for a month)...everything is like fine blah blah blah and the mucus is throat was getting better. i decided i went alittle back to my old eating habits.. junk food, fried stuffs.. till i got a sore throat 2 weeks ago and it became post nasal drip and then all the hacking and whatever s**t just irritate my esphagrous and now im having heartburn and acid reflux all over again.
Going back to the gastro doc for help... Serve me right or what? :(
Life is really a b**ch and so is gastric reflux.

So Sorry =(. I have accepted the fact that I will probably have to be on diet restictions indefinetly. Instead of dwelling on it, I have done some research and have found some good receipes for stuff I crave (I crave sweets). It is so frustrating and limititing to eat this way (I am on a low acid, gluten free, low carb, low fat diet) but the alternative is to be in pain. In the long run, it is probably better for my oeverall health to be staying away from the junk food. Although once in a while it could be nice. I really miss my beer. I have not had a drink of alcohol since my wedding in April. I am planning on having one or 2 on my 30th birthday (rum and water is not acidic but relaxes that stupid LES that we are all having issues with). This whole thing is really annoying and has impacted my social life, so I hear ya. Hang in there, we all know how you feel.

Fireworks, I'm so sorry to hear that your symptoms have returned. I know the feeling of thinking your totally done with GERD, but then it comes right back and smacks you in the face. The only thing that gets me through it is realizing how many people have worse problems than I do.

I hate to tell you this, but you may have to have a strict diet regime. I know it doesn't sound fun, but the important part is for you to feel completely better. Obviously your problems seem diet related, so it looks like you've got a decent grasp on your situation.

Good luck, and get better soon. Sometimes life can be hard, but it is only as hard as you make it.
The advice I provide and present to you is solely based on research and doctor diagnosis. I am personally not a doctor. Going to a doctor is far better than listening to what I have to say.

I have experienced a lot over the course of years, and I am glad to give you some pointers to help you overcome your struggles.
