Thank you for your kinda words! I am just happy I can occasionally drink. I had Coconut Rum with water and it wasn't bad and also not acidic. It is alcohol still but I avoided making it worse! The next time I may try and have a drink is at a wedding in November. I also was able to have a gluten free/dairy free banana bread cake and a gluten free, low fat cupcake for my birthday. Again, nothing I am going to be doing often but to know that I can still have some things is reassuring. I am still working towards my goal of no symptoms. My ultimate goal is to over time, step down to a H2 blocker like zantac and have no symptoms. That is something that will take time, I know.
