Try chewing non mint gum, that has eliminated that issue for me along with a gluten free/paleo diet consisting mostly of fruits, veggies and lean protein. If I have carbs they are usually red potatoes or gluten free grains like brown rice or oats. I also avoid dairy due to the fat content and use almond milk or soy milk for baking or ice cream. Avoiding the triggers as well as sleeping on a bed wedge helps. I also take magnesium, papaya enzymes, l glutamine, b12, calcium, vitamin d and moega 3 fish oil. Water helps too. Plus Nexium.This has been the only thing that has helped me slowly improve over time.
