Good day to all.
Would like to share my experience of getting off these poisonous PPI's.
I was diagnosed with GERD 10 years ago & my doctor had prescribed PPI's to solve this illness.I had been taking PPI's for almost 10 years.
It worked but not cure totally. On off I still had heartburn & had to double up the doses to control it.

Last month I had a very bad heartburn whenever any meals got into my stomach which I had not experience before.
So I took 40mg of PPI's in the morning & 40mg in the night together with Motilium...then after it still wont stopped the acid reflex up
till my throat. So I visited my doctor & explained to him that I had took double doses of PPI's together with Motilium, it still unable to control
the heartburn. In the end my doctor prescribed a stronger PPI's(Controlog) together with Motilium for me to try out for 2 weeks.
Then after took the new PPI's for 2 weeks ,it got better but still feel uncomfortable whenever meals got into my stomach.

So I told my myself, I had to find a way to get rid of this PPI's which I read a lot of bad remarks on these drugs.
I came in to an article by Dr. Leo Gallard's of natural ways to soothe your stomach.
He recommended to use Calcium & Digestive enzymes.
I followed accordingly & stopped all PPI's...It Worked!!!!
And now after 2 weeks I feel no more acid & my stomach work calmly.

So friends try it! It really work.

I usually took 4 meals a day & 2 tablets of digestive enzymes(Brand:Enzyplex by Westmond Pharmaceutical)+half tablets calcium after every meal. Ensure you crush the calcium in your mouth before take it in with the digestive enzymes.
But of course you need to avoid food like:
Milk/Soya milk,fruits juices,Chinese Tea,Pepper,Vitamin C,Sour food & gassy drinks.
Hope this help!!!
Cheers

Thanks for posting this information.
I have a couple more questions for you.
1.  Did you get any rebound from going off the PPI?  I have heard that the GERD can get much worse before getting better when stopping the medication.

2.  Did you gradually wean yourself off the PPI or did you just stop at once and start using the calcium and enzeymes?
