Please Help--Over the past 3 weeks my symptoms have been getting worse.
-extremely light-headed (feeling like I'm not all there--like the worst flu-but don't have it)
-throbbing goes up back of my neck
-can't concentrate---can't work now--can't drive as of Last. Wed.
-tingling in head (bad)
-sometimes have to breathe thru mouth
-sometimes fast heartrate
-esophogus- goes 24/7
-of course the regular naseau, burping, etc. from reflux

Thanks, need some hope this will get better.
I'm waiting to get a scope.

Good Morning. I am sorry your symptoms have gotten worse.  Wondering if you have talked with your Dr. re the increase in the severity of your symptoms ?
Reading your post the first thought that came to mind was anxiety and GERD can go hand in hand and what you described fits into anxiety symptoms as well as GERD.  I don't know if there is scientific evidence proving that GERD causes anxiety, but I know many people who suffer from GERD that also have some  kind of anxiety
You may want to keep a diary when you are having a bad day and identify any unusual stress that is going on in your life at the same time.  Often we do not realize how anxious we really are feeling.
Please remember I am not a medical professional so check in with your Dr.

Hi Kitt,
These symptons started ever so slowly over the last 3 weeks, so I know it was not anxiety. Now I have a bit because of everything! However this is nothing I've ever experienced. The restless feelings will be there on & off all day & If my head is better like yesterday, the restless feeling is also better. Then all of a sudden it will disappear, especially by night.
I typed in Can reflux effect your nerves? What came back was someone talked about the vagus nerve...which I talked about before & I'm sure that is why I have the head thing. (It goes into the stomache & up your head, so it makes sense) I have spoken to someone where they had esoshogues spasms that went up their head..mine is just worse. And it is not a side effect of the drug-pantopraxole--as these symptons started before this.
