I know our nerves go all over the place and I'm wondering if this is just my esophagus/stomach complaining............
I have a pain under my left breast alot of the time. I know what heartburn feels like and this isn't it. It feels like its in my left chest wall.
In fact, alot of times my left breast really itches too.
Anyone else have this referred-type of pain with their GERD? I seem to have it even when I don't have any heartburn.

It could be the stimulation of the nerves or it could be trapped gas pains. People with GERD and IBS tend to get these pains. I myself get sharp pains in my back and around my ribs. Sometimes in my chest. I do n ot get heartburn anymore with Nexium, suppliments and diet changes, b ut these pains are bothersome. I just started sometthing to help with gas pains so I will let everyone know if it works. I also just added Ginger to my routine.
