I have had reflux for years and still learning about it everyday. I had two fainting spells in five months after having serious burning sensation in the tummy! I do take Prilosec but it flares up bad sometimes. My doctors have ran heart test after heart test and all are normal. I have had two cat scans recently also normal. Do you y'all think it's the vagal nerve cause I have no dizziness if my stomach is settled. Some people say magnesium helps is this true. Im trying to eat better but one thing might effect me differently from day to day. I also take raglan which helps a lot but nervous take to much because some say you get muscle ticks from it. I have not had an endoscopy, because my doctors bills are crazy. Does any one recommend this? If so I will invest more if it helps symptoms!! #Tooyoungtobefrustrated

Sorry that you are dealing with this! The endoscopy is a test that will help determine what is going on with you. I think you probably should get it done as you have a lot of other tests done with no answers.

I was having fainting spells this summer and found out my potassium was low. If I remember right the ER doc said potassium and magnesium can cause this. Might want to have your levels checked.
As for Reglan, I run from it myself. I was given this about 1.5 years ago while in the hospital for a torn esophagus and it gave me some facial ticks. After that started I refused it.

Take care,
Bill

Thank you guys. I will do my best with getting off of reglan. But it's the only thing that calms my stomach down besides prilosec when it's out of hand. I will ck on the vitamin levels soon also. Ty for the help and support!
