I wanted to share my newest "thing" that I am trying. I found an Alkaline High PH water (8.8) at the grocery store in the organic/speciality section. They are 32 oz. bottles of 6 (same amount of ounces as a normal 24 pack of 8 oz. bottles). For a few dollars more, they seem to be helping so far. It is called Evamore. I try to drink the water after meals especially. I will report back soon. It has only been a few days.

I've been using Evamor (8.8) and Essentia (9.5) for about a month. I have noticed some improvement.

I used Essentia (9.5), and I did not feel good. I was wondering why it was burning my stomach. It has baking soda in it, and for me baking soda burns my stomach and esophagus :((
Anybody has problems with baking soda?

Evamore is said to from a rare alkaline source. On the label it says it has 15 mg or sodium which is low. Never heard of the other one.

I only used Essentia when I ran out of Evamor. I took a look at Evamor's water quality report (available on their website) and it seems free of many contaminants. Essentia is basically purified alkalized tap water. Due to its high ph, Essentia may be good for gargling.

I think I may try Evamor water because it seem for me water worsens my heartburn. But it seems really expensive on their website. Is it less expensive at a local distributor?

Alkazone (pH 9.5) helped me when I was off PPIs, not so much after getting back on PPIs because they cure my heartburn (but not breathing unfortunately)

Yes, it is less expensive off line at a store. It costs a few dollars more than other bottled waters.

I've been drinking it for about 10 days, a LOT of it (because I drink a lot of water anyway) so far no change. My PPI's don't seem to be working either (double dose prilosec for about two weeks now) I just read an article by Jaimie Kaufman saying that Alkaline Water "may" be helpful by reducing pepsin in some molecular way but i have yet to feel anything.
