Good to hear from you! Well I am still waiting to go deer hunting. I am going to wait a couple more weeks to make sure my eye is healed all the way and have been taking care of Michelle. Her gallbladder has stopped working completely. We already have an appointment with the surgeon who did my lung surgery and my last redo. We have to wait until Monday for the official results and a referral, red tape you know. She can't get in until 12/3, but his nurse has her on the list for the first
opening if some one cancels.
Good to hear he is getting out to the woods. I sure do miss the quiet mornings in the tree. It's amazing how much better I feel just being out there. I have hung my stands and went for a couples scouting missions.
I was quiet anxious about
this surgery, but it was so easy and quick. My surgeon's group is one of the pioneers in the latest eye surgery. A really great group of doctors.
I am still amazed at the difference between my eyes right now. The hazy sight I have in my left vs. the clear sight in my right eye. I am going with blended vision. My right eye is for distance and my left will be for intermediate. This will give me the best chance of not needing reading glasses. He recommended this because I see 20/20 after the cataract was removed and with all the sports I do. He didn't want me to catch a ball with my face.
He also remembered my son from when he hit himself in the eye with a foul ball off his bat. That was 8 years ago!
