I went to see my surgeon last night with questions about my surgery i,m having a vagotomy and nissan fundolicaion together on december 19th.he told me I would be ok to eat after 3 weeks anything.2-3 day hospital stay possible longer.I forgot to ask him where I was being cut.

he did tell me about dumping after surgery so i,m a little nervous with that.

Hi jennas,
Many people experience some dumping during the healing process. I did.  Fortunately, it was not constant, and didn't bother me much at all.  I'd know if I was getting a dumping episode if my stomach started gurgling loudly. I continued to get occasional dumping into the second year, and then one day I realized it wasn't happening any more!
