I am on my 10th week of recovery. Pre LNF I was going to the gym for weights and running 3 times a week. I have not gone to the gym yet, I did run 2 miles at week 8 and started golfing at week 6. Everyone heals differently, so you just have to re-introduce the activities slowly and see what your body tells you.
I have a friend that went to the gym at week 8 and almost tore his wrap lifting weights. I do not think it is wise to do any heavy lifting of weights until after 3 months perhaps more, start slowly.
As for drinking, I had a beer at 7 and a half weeks and went down well, two days later I had two beers
Beer just fills me up faster and I am unable to drink anymore than 2. I have switched to drinks on the rocks, definetly do not add soda.
