how long does it take for your body to get back to the way it was before after quitting PPI's cold turkey?  I was on PPI's for almost 3 months.  Made me more sick than I was before the scope which showed some inflammation in the lower esophagus.  Only symptom I had before was an upper abdominal intermittent pain.  Now, I have full blown ACID REFLUX IN GUT, UP THROAT, BURNING UP NOSE.  I REALLY FEEL TERRIBLE.  (Oops, sorry for all the caps). 
 
GI says we;ll need to figure a new plan to treat my Silent Gerd, but I can't stand this.  Help.....
