It is a wonderful Christmas gift. We went over to see her yesterday, and she's so tiny! Her mom and sister have been spending a lot of time with her, helping her through the mommy transition from one to two. (Oh, I remember it well!)
Since I'm the mother of the daddy I'm deferring to them. Girls want their mom's not theirs MILs at this time, and I understand that. They both got to watch the baby being born, which was wonderful for them. Her sister's a nurse, so she was a lot of help, too. I know I wouldn't have wanted my MIL watching my lady parts during my labor and delivery, so I totally get it.
Once mommy goes back to work we'll be watching the two grandbabies two days a week (probably starting the end of February or beginning of March), so I'll have my chance! She's so tiny and sweet!♥
It's a special Christmas, that's for sure! Thanks for your kind thoughts, belljar and MMM!
PS--Kitt, you always amaze me with your wonderful techie typing ability!
