Hi everyone new to this forum. I have
Been struggling with what the g.i. Doctor
Says is gerd. I have chest pains that sometimes
Go to my back and under my left breast
Also in the center of my chest. I have been
To the e.r. Twice since sept. did the whole
Cardiac work up they said it was normal.
Also had an endoscopy and colonoscopy
Also full abdomen ultrasound, and all
The blood work .All was o.k. I was on
Nexium for 6 weeks two doses 40mg
Each seemed to help for the first three
Weeks then the discomfort came back.
Doctor switched me to a different med

Right now 60mg once a day. Changed my
Diet to a gerd diet. Lost 25 lbs. I just wanted
To ask anyone did your chest pains ever go
Away? I don't cheat at all because I get
To scared. It has been about 4months since this
All started and the only negative finding
Was a slight inflamation in the esophagus
During the endoscopy. Thanks for listening
Hope everyone gets well soon.

Have they tested you to see the cause of your GERD?
Barium swallow?
Motility study?
pH Study?
Stomach Emptying?

Sometimes it's a defect in the LES or a motility issue or a hiatal hernia.
Lupus, Fibromyalgia, Glaucoma, Asthma, Hypothyriodism, Sleep Apnea, Degenerative Disk and Facet Disease, and Allergies

When life throws you lemons....
Pick them up and throw them right back at them! :))
