smhair IM IN TERRIBLE PAIN..JUST GOT OUT OF HOSPITAL FOR FOOD POISONING.

My esophagus is causing me EXTREME pain when talking, walking, eating, bending, going up/down stairs, etc...

Thankfully just found your website, and answers to some treatment suggestions, and immediately reached for the Pepto Bismol.

I was to call for follow-up appt today, but the pain was extreme, and mixed with my fibromyalgia is just EXHAUSTING....

Please inform of anything I can do to reduce pain until I get into follow up appt. I've sent them an email requesting the Carafate Suspension...

The pain in my stomach is VERY intense, and the burning from my fibromyalgia has lessened to the extreme caused by the saline solution in the hospital.

I read it increases the fibromyalgia symptoms, and I may have been allergic to it.

ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!

I'm fibro too and I know how sensitive our nerves are. Have you been told you have a tear? What is the doctor going to do for it?

Try to see the doctor ASAP. Can you get a hold of malox or gavascon? It might help soothe you some.

I had food poisoning in June and all the throwing up eroded my esophagus and started the awful heartburn symptoms again :( I wish you luck! I also had the flu during the food poisoning, it was awful!
