Out of all the natural remedies, the following has been helpful: Magnesium, chamomille tea, papaya enzymes, kale and evamore alkaline water. I am trying to get back into L-Glutamine anf fish oil...it ia hard to keep track of all this stuff! I also take calcium, vitamin d, and B12 due to the fact that I am taking nexium.
Diet wise, I am pretty much low acid, gluten free, low dairy, low fat. I mostly eat lean proteins (turkey, chicken, extra lean beef) and fruits and vegetables low in acid (melons, bananas, red delicious apples, edamame, broccoli, carrots, peas, lettuce etc). I also eat brown rice, potatoes, gluten free pasta made from brown rice, olive oil, almonds, soy ice cream, egg whites and brown rice based products (pretzels for example). My dad makes me gluten free low fat cookies that I eat for dessert. I am not perfect but I have made some progress. I just hope the longer I am on the diet and remedies, eventually I will have it completely under control.
