I don't get it.

So some studies (i.e. show less symptoms means a higher risk for cancer, and some others seem to say symptoms duration, severity, etc. are linked to cancer in a positive correlation.

Then I read that bile reflux can cause worse problems and is difficult to diagnose and treat. So I would think a lot of people are walking around with bile reflux thinking it is acid reflux. So that should mean more symptoms = higher risk, not less.

Seriously, I have been struggling with GERD for 5 years + now and feel like I am farther from answers than ever before.
