Does anyone else have this, or had it? If so, what other reflux/heartburn symptoms are you having?

I've had this for at least a year, where eating spicy food (even as mild as Spanish rice) seems to make my tongue and throat burn slightly. It's not major pain, but definitely noticeable.

I had fundoplication 6 weeks ago, and still have the sensitivity. I had mostly LPR symptoms and still have them. I'd like to think that whatever was irritated from reflux or the surgery, needs more time to heal, but this sensitivity is not a symptom I've heard others mention.

Thanks for sharing.

I'm came to realize that once this curse sets in for some time, most of us become hypersenstive from tongue to tummy. So anything spicy (even mild) is a no no.
I suffer from gerd and lpr symptoms, which are always changing. With my herina, weak les and having gerd/lpr symptoms I consider the nissen from time to time but I worry if I won't reslove all my symptoms whats the point.
