I hope you can help me I live in garland, tx I had a hiatel repair and reflux surgery on 10032012 to help with my severe asthma and it has been a nightmare since then. I was suffering with no pain my reflux was under control and when I was in hospital for my asthma and a doctor approached me about reflux surgery and how it may help with keeping me out of the hospital for my asthma. I talked to,primary doctor he agreed then the other doctor said I had a hiatel hernia that also needed to be repaired. The surgery I thought went well but then two weeks later I started having extreme abdominal pains could not keep water or nothing down but I could not throw up just regurgitate I went to the hospital pain is unbearable brings my blood pressure over 250/150 they have to give me dllaunten I've been in the hospital over 50 days due to this they have done every test can't find anything and send me home and put me on strong pain medicines morphine, Valium, Bertrand patch, gralise pills.
The doctor that did the surgery feels he does not need to go back in because all the test shows nothing but I did not have this excruating pain before the surgery and they say I have to live with it no doctor will go behind this doctor he had once sad if he could not find the pain he would go back and see if he stitch me wrong or too tight he did go in and supposed to had loosen the reflux surgery and he totally undid it so I have reflux again. I am on depression medicine because I'm tired ob being in pain and having to live drugged up and back and forth to hospital. I'm 51 years old I still have a 15 year old son at home and this has shorten my life even more so because I have severe asthma and copd from asthma never smoked the pain medicine compromises my breathing especially when hospitilized because only dllaunten pain medicine works and is not good for use for asthmatic like myself so when this happens my asthma doctor has to treat my asthma and put me on steroids which is also not good.
I have never had pain in stomach and chest until this surgery Doctor something went wrong and no one will help me they just say I need to go to pain doctor and realize I will have ain for the rest of my life but they don't know why. Why would a doctor want to give someone morphine to take daily for pain but does not know why I have the pain. However they are all pushing for me to have gastric but they say it want stop the pain why would you put me thru another surgery and I got pain from the last surgery and know doctors know why. I just want them to take the stitches the mesh out put me back the way I was. I am so scared I'm going to die from this I have lost 50 pounds and still losing because sometimes food triggers it off or sometimes I just wake up and have to be rushed to hospital.
Please if you can help me I look up on the Internet every day trying to find someone to help me I don't caring about suing anyone I just want my life back. Thinking about having those pain attacks terrify me because I usually have to sit in emergency room screaming and hollering urinating and throwing up for hours waiting my turn begging god to make the pain stop. It has been so bad sometimes husband just calls ambulance because I'm hollering and rolling around like a crazy woman it is that bad and I usually can take pain had 3 children natural. Right now I haven't eaten and I barely eat scared I might trigger the pain to get worse because even with morphine I still have nagging pain in my abdomen and upper chest on left side that never goes away stays at about pain level 5. The last 4 days have had dirreah and throwing up but going to the doctors here they do the same test MRI, egd, cat scans see nothing and send me back to my pain doctor. I go in the hospital they take me off food and sometimes a liquid diet or they give food thru IV the say to let my stomach rest because they do say I digest my food slow in my small intestine give me Dilautin for pain stay about a week or more then they send me home. I will send you a list of how many times I've been in hospital I'm desperate I will travel if a doctor would care enough to try to find out what went wrong I know their or risk with surgery but the doctor said surgery went well he did the surgery LASPROSCOPIC
I SUFFER AT HOME TAKEN THE PAIN MEDICINE THEY GAVE ME BUT IM STILL IN PAIN SOME DAYS WORSE THAN OTHERS. TAKE SLEEPING PILLS TRYING TO,SLEEP THRU THE PAIN ON DEPRESSION MEDICINE BECAUSE MY LIFE FEELS RUIN FOR THe REST OF MY LIFE HAVING ALL THE OTHER AILMENTS WAS ENOUGH THAT HAS CHANGED MY QUALITY OF LIFE NOW HAVING TO TAKE PAIN MEDICINE ON A DAILY MAY SHORTEN MY LIFE EVEN MORE BECAUSE IT COMPROMISES MY. BREATHING THAT'S ALREADY SEVERE
