6 days and counting.  I have read 29 pages of pertinent forum messages--hundreds of Q & A's and blog stories.  So I am pretty well prepared based on information that all of my future Wrap Brothers and Sisters have so generously given.  I also did searches of the archives and most of my results for these specific questions were mostly applicable to persons with Chron's and other bowel diseases.  I am interested in recommendations and opinions about some of the following products:
idea  Artificial Sweeteners--specifically but not limited to Splenda.  I have been using a spoon of this product daily for years on cereal with no increase in Acid.  I do get occasional bad effects with regular carbs such as refined sugar.
idea  Clear liquid multivitamins with protein from a health food store,
idea  Other soluble protein products.

idea Any other products which might add variety to my Surgeon's required 2 weeks of clear liquid diet..

Ask him if it is clear liquid or just liquid. It is according to how well the surgery goes usually. They don't want you to have anything that could hang up in throat. My doc. had me on liquid (not clear) after surgery. I would blend veg. soup in blender. Potato soup in blender and have jello, but you might need to blend that also.

My best suggestion once again is only eat or drink a 1/2 cup at a time. At least an hour apart but as often ( hour apart) as you want. Drink and eat slowly, very slowly. Stay away from coffee and do not have carbinated drinks for a few months. Best of Luck
