I have a question. Unfortunatly they found a very small spot in my esophagus with Barretts. Small enough that my Dr. is not concerned. As long as we keep it under surveillance I should be ok. Now. If I decide to get the NF and that Barretts is there can it still be surveilled? If I have it abalated what guarantee is there that they kill off all the cells ( if they go deep enough into the tissue).

Has anyone here who had or has Barretts and had the NF done?

I have barretts an a nissen. It is actually good to have the wrap so that the acid stops acting on the barretts. I only have to check my barretts every 3 tears now since I have a functioning wrap vs. every year.

Take care,
Bill
