I had my NF on 3/6/13. I noticed a real increasing in te swelling in the wrap area on day 5. After that, I got to feeling a lot better - until today. I am now 16 days post op & woke up this morning with pain similar to day 5 & have had real issues getting food down today - to the point of throwing up a couple of times. I also seem to have a lot of mucus. Is this normally? When did anyone else really notice the swelling going away? Thx!

You are actually right about the peak swelling now. Things may stay this way for a week or so and gradually get better. Remember this is a marathon not a sprint recovery.

The end result is definitely worth it.

Take care,
