Hi!I have bile and acid reflux for 10 months. I have constant nausea and burping 24/7. I am in real hell, because when i eat i want to throw up, when i work i want to throw up, when i wake up i want to throw up. It is awful. Tablets prescribed for me by the doc don`t help ( motilium, antacids, and others). May be smb can help me. Thank you cry

Hi nmelissi,so sorry youre suffering from nausea, its a really hard symtom to live with,im the same with nausea, just wont go away.I had nissen done last year and was told it would clear up after but no its still there aswell as reflux. Im on domperidome and nexium with occasional buccastem but it only dampens it abit.I read posts on here saying that Zofran is really good, maybe you could try that? Sounds like you might need surgery for your reflux. Barry

I'm so sorry to hear that you're having such a difficult time. I suffered from daily nausea each time I was pregnant and I know I could be debilitating. Please seek guidance from your gastroenterologist. If he can't make you feel better, you need to move on and find another until you find one that can treat your symptoms. You should not have to spend your life in pain and discomfort. There are some good anti-nausea medications out there. I remember I was given a suppository (rectal) because I kept throwing up anything I ingested. Please keep us posted.

I used to feel this way all the time. If I didn’t see you name attached I would swear I wrote that. I assumed it was because I was talking metforman and that always made me feel nauseous. In the mornings it started out at first mimicking morning sickness by 12 noon I was ok. Then it grew into all day and then nights I would lay down and wake up in the middle of the night chocking on acid as thought my life depended on it. Pepto-Bismol and dexalant along with Tums was my daily routine. Finally, having noticed that I was taking to much metforman due to a pharmacy error. I stopped taking the wrong dose of metforman and continued to notice that my symptoms stayed the same 5-30min after eating I would get so sick. Around thanksgiving time I noticed that I was freezing and I have always been a person that runs on the warm side. So I knew something wasn’t right. While everyone sat together having a nice meal I sat and watched. I wasn’t even realizing how much I was putting my life on hold. Settling and waiting for food that I know I wouldn’t have a problem with which wasn’t much. After a bunch of tests and 4 Endoscopies I was finally given a solution to have the Nissen Fundo. Let me tell you that it saved my life. I am not Living life yet only because I am still healing but I will soon be. I have no heartburn, No reflux at night I can lay on my back for the first time in 10 years mind you I am only 29. I had spicy food last night and was ok. My surgery was on February 4th 2013. Thank god because my life got put back together that day because if not sadly enough and I have been told by 3 different Doctors I would have been dead. While recovery has not been easy it’s better to be recovering then deceased. That is something I definitely agree with.

Yes non stop. always. I tried Zofran and that didn't work literally the only thing that helped was surgery. it was pretty sad.  Have you thought of anything your going to do.

Hey Tarachriso,
Me and nmelissi have been in contact for a few days trying to figure out whats wrong with us. We have the same symptoms and it really is torture. I've been suffering from this constant nausea for a year and 2 months now and i agree its like I'm alive but not living! I hope that your recovery from surgery goes smoothly and im glad that you're feeling better!! I just have a question to ask if you don't mind.... what made you decide to do this surgery? I mean what other tests have you tried? Did you see neurologists, psychiatrists, ear/nose/throat doctors, many gastroenterologists? I'm just asking because this surgery is a huge step and I just want to make sure that you also went through all the hoops of seeing several different specialists and what they said that lead you to do the surgery? I personally removed my gallbladder and it made me even worse (nausea wise). And what do you mean about the 3 different doctors telling you that you would have been dead if not for the surgery? Did they literally mean dead? And why??
Hope you feel better!!

Sorry about the delay.
Ok, so what made me do the surgery was I had no choice. I was loosing too much weight too fast and was literally loosing everything that came in contact with my mouth 30 min max. After mea eating I would vomit and become so weak. I was getting weaker and weaker until I started to become lightheaded and some moments of the day feel as though I could pass out. I finally started to get so dehydrated and mal nourished. That my face was as white as a ghost and I was beginning to wither away. Because my Doctors weren’t sure 100 % if it was gastropersis and I needed a gastric pacemaker or to do the Nissen Fundolipication I was in bad shape. But my doctors wanted to be absolute sure that I would get the right procedure done as far as the dead comment. I was told due to the lack of nutrition and the state in which I was in from not eating and being so sick for over 3 months if I didn’t have the surgery when I did all three doctors said I wouldn’t have been around now. They could not believe how much color and how much better I looked after 1 week. It was truly scary. When I was walking into the operating I looked back at my parents since they came with me and I thought to my self this was going to be the last time I would see them.
