I know many of you have been searching for info re the cost of the LINX procedure. I know each facility will be different but here is one source that may give you a baseline :
Mayo Clinic has a department that might be able to answer your questions regarding cost of the procedure. If you would like to contact the Fee Estimates area either at http://www.mayoclinic.org/billing-rst/ or by phone at 507-284-4027 they may be able to help. At least you wuold have a ball park estimate and most of the time Mayo costs lean toward higher than other facilities. JMHO
Being only 45 miles from Mayo I have a tendency to use Mayo as a resource for medical questions.
I hope this is some help to many. Because each state has it's own insurance rules it is hard to compare what my BCBS Advantage Gold Policy will pay compared to someone in Wisconsin. Also I have Medicare first and if Medicare doesn't cover sometimes the insurance company won't either.
Medical Insurance is a difficult field to find concrete answers. Good Luck to all who are searching for info.
