I know this sound crazy but I found some interesting articles online which could be untrue but maybe a lot of our troubles are due to a overgrowth of bacteria in our small intestine? but then again I can be wrong any thoughts or opinions about this? I just found this kind of intriguing and wonder if our doctors are familiar with something like this?

I just know I have been consuming a lot of carbs, sugars and all the wrong foods while I thought would be the right things for my diet in combating acid reflux/ LPR

I read a post somewhere that someone had a fungal rash and the doctor gave them an anti-fungal pill which also cured their gerd/gastritis but maybe that was just a one off. Not sure how they check for candida but maybe they check for that when they take biopsies during the endoscopy.

Beware of this. There is tons of, IMO, BS out there about candida. Yes it's a yeast and yes doctors are well aware of it. There are actual tests for it, doctors can sometimes see it, and there are treatments for it with over 90% cure rate like diflucan. The people that tend to write about candida online seem to theorize that it causes problems from A to Z. It may be that excess sugar does not agree with these people, or it may be that they've convinced themselves that candida is the cause of their (insert condition here) and just want to believe that removing sugars are going to starve the candida and cure their ills.

I am starting to think it's BS too, haha since I been doing this diet for two days and no change? Ughh. I really hope one of these diets work for me, my symptoms are slowly buliting up but about the tests where can you get them done?
