I was found on endoscopy to have grade 1 esophagitis. After 1 month of a good  dose of omeprazole, a repeat endoscopy looked better and I feel better but still I have days with terrible bitter/metallic taste in my mouth and with an unpleasant burning feeling coming upwards toward my throat, so overall I feel only moderate improvement. Anyone with similar experience? Any advice?

You can also put the words "metallic taste" in the search box at the upper right hand side of the page under the "Join HealingWell tab.  There are many other threads from forums across Healing Well asking the same question.
Glad you've joined the forum!  Good luck with finding the answer!
