Just checking about some of the experiences folks had post laporscopic Nissen Fundoplication surgery.
I had mine at Yale New Haven Hospital the staff was remarkable.  The only horrible experience I had was they had to replace the tubes going into my stomach two times while  I was awake due to the position and the gastric juices.

Hi Nissen Fundo,
Glad you've joined the yeah yeah yeah Wrapped Club! yeah yeah yeah Ouch!  The NG tube experience must have been very uncomfortable.  I didn't have one (at least not after I woke up)...I knew it was possible, but was pleasantly surprised when I woke up in the recovery room without one.
Be sure to ask questions as they come to you. Here's a link to my early recovery journal so you can get an idea of one other person's experience:
Don't be surprised if your swallowing gets worse before it gets better.  The wrap will become increasingly more swollen over the next two weeks, with peak swelling on or about 14 days.  After that the swelling gradually decreases and you'll become more comfortable.
Happy healing!
