I would just like to thank everyone for sharing his/her own experiences on this forum.

I must admit that I am not a forum or blogger at all. However, learning how to be opened minded to new ways of communication and sharing has allowed me to open myself up to this forum and I am grateful.

I am going into the hospital at 11:00am and the surgery is to start at 1:00pm. I celebrated every bit of this sickness by noting that Friday was my last Friday dealing with this....and so on until today. Now I am counting down the hours. I have 7 minutes left to eat or drink whatever I want. I chose soup and herbal tea.

Surgery ready
*Bible & prayer*
1) liquid pain medications
2) herbal tea
3) no straws
4) no carbonated drinks
5) juice & water
5) Sundress
6) XL- halter tops (no bra's)
7) ensure (protein drinks for nutrition)
8)Walk without over doing it.
9) Listen to my body
10) I am not alone I have a family of "Wrapped" that understands

Thank you all for your help and yes, Denise I will start my journal here. This is my last post until I return. If you don't see a post by Tuesday evening.....please say prayers for my 2 son's.

Lady G,
Yay!  You'll do just fine, and we'll be waiting here to welcome you to the Wrapped Club...and yes, you do have a family of Wrappers to provide lots of support and answers to questions along the way.
Happy healing!
Denise

Thanks.

I actually had the surgery prior to your post. I started a new post that I will be using for as my journal.....of course I forgot the name of it right now.
