Hi Eugene_L,
Your stomach has been through a lot.  It sounds like you're having a weekly dumping episode.  Does your stomach gurgle a lot on the day you're having the diarrhea?  I had occasional dumping/diarrhea during my recovery.  At the year mark, I was still getting it very occasionally, and decided it would probably be a "quirk" that I'd always have to live with.  However, sometime during the second year I suddenly realized I wasn't having the problem any more.
This healing process is a long-term one.  You don't really need to worry about being on a PPI at this point.  Once you've healed, you can go off it without any problem.  You might want to see if you can get a script for 20mg, and see if that's sufficient to make you comfortable as you heal.
Hang in there...it takes a full 6 months for most of the healing and a year for the rest.  As you can see, in my case it took over a year!
Happy healing,
