I am hoping someone here can advise regarding my bad stomach aches. There seems to be no one thing that causes them other than eating in general. My zig ran and gas-ex helps some but it's getting to the piont that eating is just terrible. I missed my last post-op apt with surgeon so have to reschedule but am Hopi g someone might have some advice. Thanks

Well for the most part I am back to a regular diet. There seems to be no one thing that I eat or how much or how often that causes the pain. Although it seems more related to my dinner or evening meal

WHS-

I would try backing off my diet and eat small, 1/4 to 1/2 cup meals a few times a day. also go back to easier foods. Avoid solid meats and soft bread, ground meat is okay. toast is okay as it can be chewed to a liquid.

I am thinking you have advanced your diet to fast and your body is telling you this. this recovery is a marathon and it takes a few months to get anywhere near normal.

Eating much smaller, but frequent meals isn't as hard on your stomach. Carbonated and very cold drinks can cause some stomach issues also for a while. I found that picking 1 type of food at each meal helped things settle down, like a protein than a carb for the next and maybe a combo of both added slowly. I also found fresh fruit to be easier too.

Take care,
Bill
