Was using histamine and it was working. However, I had to stop because I have allergy tests tomorrow. Since I stopped it has slowly come back. Throat and upper upper upper chest. Probably an asthma feeling. Feels dry and when i think about it i feel a small burning. if i didnt have barretts i might not even notice the feeling. i could be thinking too much. Not sure. about 7 years ago I went and was told I had cpod. Last year I went to another doc and he told me I did not. He said it is reflux.
Either way, I am holding out on the LInx because I want to make sure this will be cured with the surgery. And not find out later it was this or d as it radiates down in to the chest. could be radiating up???i feel more in the nasal passage than i do in the chest.
How many of you get no stomach, no low chest and no middle chest issues. Just throat and very very very high up in the chest. Very high up. Almost is the throat if not the throat. Am I the only one who has these atypical sensations?? Some say its a sensitive esophagus but its more of a sensitive throat. I have Barrett's so they say I must be refluxing. And since I have Barrett's everyone is intent on saying its reflux.

I just tried a nasal rinse and it worked great for an hour. Throat pain, nasal pain and chest pain went away. Slowly the pain came back . It started in my nasal and then throat then chest.
The rinse is called alkalol. Got it at Walgreens
I will continue to use it and gargle with salt water. I had forgotten how well that worked for sensitive throat. Need to get back on that. But it's so interesting that my allergies are connected to my reflux symptoms??? Or are they?? Could be my allergies affecting my sensitive esophagus /throat.
Either way, most of these new sensitive spots occurred after I started ppi's.

mine is upperchest and lower throat. Don't know why it's like this and no doctor cares to explain.

I am curious to see if this nasal rinse works for your throat. It is alkalol. I have never breathed so well through my nose and my upper chest benefits from this relief. I tried it a second time today but a little stronger. No chest or throat issues at this moment.
However, I did go to a great acupuncturist this afternoon.
We discussed. GERD and anxiety. The two are hand in hand with Chinese medicine.
I am almost starting to believe that anxiety is my trigger. The are foods that do it. Chocolate for sure does it to me. But most all other foods are hit and miss. Stress and anxiety are the two controlling factors for me. I think.
Either way, when my nasal is good so is my reflux and throat.
