Hey guys, does anyone know of any good doctors for LPR in Wisconsin or maybe where I can find some recommended doctors in my state?

Go to Refluxmd and ask there. Not sure how it works. If the docs pay or they sign up or if they are chosen?? But it's a good site for all GERD stuff.

Sixness,
I know UW's bedside manners....well kind of suck. Having said that, I can only "assume" they have the best WI has to offer. That's why I haven't tried going anywhere else and if I did it would only be the Mayo clinic (which I'm sure my insurance won't cover without a referal).

Yeah, i dont think i'll be heading to madison again anytime soon. Still have an appoint for milwaukee... Will see. I have a date set with mayo, i'd be there 3 days. Hoping i can get this all done figured out than so i dont have to spend thousands of dollars on i ferior care. Uw madison doctors told me that breathing problems werent their problems and that i should talk to my gp... I kept telling that it was reflux related... They didnt seem to care. So if the mayo doctors understand the correlation... I have made a decent jump in the knownledge of my doctors.

Hopefully mn mayo is as good as everything and everyone says... Comparing them to uw madison. They dont have to raise the bar high to provide better care. No patient should feel worse after seeing a doctor.

I was reading an article about mark spitz who was an olympic swimmer back in the 70's. anyways, he had reflux training and after left professional swimming he still suffered from heartburn. He was also having asthma like symptoms too. So back in the 70's his dr made the link between reflux and breathing issues. It seems like hes doing fine now, i think hes the spokesmen for nexium too. Dont know why my dr's here in 2013 cant make the connection but back in the 70s mark spitz's doctor did.

I've been having problems with my ears and sinuses lately. I'm pretty sure I'd be laughed at if I brought it up to my current GI doctors... even though those issues have been linked to LPR. As a patient, I don't want to be angry or mad at my doctors... I just want their help
