My child from birth is being tube fed due to high reflux.
Two months before she had roto virus to cure that she was hospitalised as she was dehydrated. After 3 days of trips and electrolytes she was back home . AFter this period next 20 days she was completely different person ie., no sign of reflux at all. She started tasting food and started showinig interest in food.
As she doesnt know how to chew she will not take much more than tasting. We really were happy after 2 long years of reflux period. Our joy was very short lived and reflux was back again . After 1 full day of electrolytes then she will be OK for next 5 days ie, no reflux at all.
This episode is going on for last 4 weeks and we are awaiting for our paeditrician appointment.

Any one faced this type of situation. Any further advise why reflux subsidies when electrolyte is provided?

My heart is breaking for your little girl. sad   Do you take her to a childrens hospital or just a ped. at the clinic? I would advise a childrens hospital in a large city, if you haven't done so already. Nothing against a good ped doc but this stuff is usually way over thier head.
Surgery may be the only answer if things don't get better. If that is the case, do not under any circumstances allow any dr's other than a very good childrens hospital due the surgery.
Have you tried pedalite? It has electrolytes in it and is made for children.
I hope that I don't offend, I will say a prayer for your daughter's good health.
