I am hesitant to start this because it may be my last chance to heal my throat, but im wondering if it creates a raft preventing anything from refluxing, does this include air??  How do you burp if there is a barrier there?

I have been able to burp just fine, though I notice that I don't burp as much with the gaviscon. It doesn't cause me to feel bloated. In fact, it is barely noticeable. I also recommend checking out ebay as I have been able to find it there for a little bit cheaper than other places.

Thanks Matt, do you use it after every meal and at bedtime. I dont have heartburn, im going to try and use it to see if it helps my throat. I still dont even know if i have silent reflux.

Yeah I use it after every meal and at bedtime. The bad part is that it goes fast and is expensive to ship...but if it helps I'm willing to pay. I'm trying it for six months to see if it makes a difference. So far my throat doesn't really feel any different but I can definitely say that I don't notice as much reflux coming up.

Matt, i never feel reflux anyway. I think i have irritable larynx syndrome or something else. I have a follow up endoscopy to see if the first one i had and the Bravo probe caused damage. I am so sick of the throat problems. So you are saying that you actually feel reflux coming up into your throat??

According to the Manufacturer, Gaviscon Advance can rarely cause bloating.
