New Development in treatment for LPR

While doing some researching today for treatments for LPR - I came across this -
 
 
It will be interesting to see if it works, and I wonder if it could be used in any way for the LES - probably not as it's hidden within the diaphragm, but it looks interesting, and drug free! turn

I must not have reflux, because i never have any of those symptoms and that thing would choke me to death because thats where i have the globus sensation. I cant even stand having a t-shirt touch my neck at that spot

wow, this is awesome. Even if it doesn't end up working, it's the first device/treatment I know of aimed specifically at people with lpr/eerd, and will hopefully lead the charge for others to follow. I will definitely be interested in purchasing one when it becomes available. Any information on the potential cost? Also, it's interesting that the article only mentions wearing the device at night. I assume that for daytime refluxers like myself it could be worn during the day as well, though points for style will have to be deducted tongue
