For the last 3 or 4 weeks I've also had tongue pain along with my esophageal pain. Sometimes it feels like I might be accidentally biting it at night, because once I fell asleep bitting my tongue on the sides and I had this thought of "I've done this before..." It's like my tongue is not comfortable behind my teeth, it's more comfortable stretched further, right between my teeth, and I'm wondering if it's just maybe swollen from all the inflammation or?!

My tongue has been in a lot more pain than it usually is since I got GERD... At first I thought it was just my fibro pain moving around like usual, but it's been consistent for a few months now. Maybe it's the GERD causing it, then... I hadn't thought of that.

Do you find it hurts to eat, sometimes even hurts to talk?
