Hi folks,

Well, it's been awhile and I have been "joyfully" plugging along on my once daily dose of Dexilant @ 60Mg.
I recently had an EGD (upper endoscopy) and my MD went over the findings comapred to a year ago.

No h.pylori.
No fundic gland polyps in the stomach.
Mild esophagitis at the LES (GE) jjunction.
Normal Z-Line observed.
No hiatal hernia.
No dysplasia, namely BE.

OK, that's great (for me.) But my symptoms are annoying and really curtail my lifestyle.

I'm still a prime candidate for surgery, that hasn't changed. Yet, when I continue my research on the Linx, compared to a 360 degree Nissen (loose wrap), I am stunned to find a lack of new data as to it's efficacy and MD's performing it in NYC and surrounding areas.

Am I missing something here?

Like every other PPI I have taken, my luck will eventually run out.

Best,

GM :)
