Does anyone have shortness of breath and drymouth and difficulty swallowing, and a constant presure in throat, sinus and ear presure?and can it cause my extreame lower abdomin bloating up to chest. It feels like the presure is going right to my head ears are plugged and ringing. Throat is also burning? One more question please , can anyone tell me what a bravo 48hr ph test feels like and what is the procedure?

Huh, I have all of those symptoms. I have been told I'm fine and I don't have reflux by numerous doctors. If you can pin point it down to something let me know. The ear pain and shortness of breathe is so debilitating. I'm heading to mayo clinic in the next couple of days, I'll let you know what they say, but I recently went to a mcw and they told me that my symptoms could be from reflux... or nerve pain, or stomach growth in my throat, or Allergies/food allergies. What's it called... EoE.

The 48 hour bravo capsule probe will be inserted into your esophagus while your knocked out by anesthesia. It's a probe that has a ph sensor in it and I'm assuming it's like the size of a skittle, but your doctor will latch it on to the walls of your esophagus and it will stay there for a couple of days and finally get passed on through your bowels. You may feel a little prick in the area the capsule is placed. For me, I barely noticed it.

I probably burp 100 times a day... i do get that to, but its relieved by burping... which then causes reflux. Interestingly though, my problem is when i have reflux thats higher then 8.0. Im talking to someone about it this week. Doing a dual probe study right now... hoping to get answers and not labeled functional heartburn
